Start Small….#30DayChallenge

We keep coming with long-term resolutions despite the fact we rarely maintain them. Why do we make these resolutions?

To feel empowered

To gain more confidence

To seek happiness

Well, how about we start with that small change. A small change that will be more sustainable over time. We start with a 3 part 30 day challenge.

  1. Write down one thing you’re grateful for and say it

Sometimes we get to go through life as zombies or we tend to wonder what or why we do what we do. Take a little time and appreciate what we have. Each day, write down what you are grateful, make it different every day. No matter how small it is, appreciate its presence in your life. Write it, say it.

  1. Write down one thing each day you love about yourself/ Compliment yourself. Say it

#YouMatter . Discover and appreciate yourself each day and see it build that self-confidence. Compliment yourself, something different each day. Look deep, you will see it. Write it, say it. Say it loud.

  1. 100 push-up challenge

We have to start from somewhere right? Our target is 100 push-ups per day but jelly hands …so start and do as many as you can it in a day. Preferably in sets (3,5,10) depending on your capabilities. Write them down on how many you managed to get done in a day. You’ll notice as the days go by, your number increases. Regularly adding push-ups to your workout won’t just strengthen your chest. It will also shape your shoulders, triceps, and glutes while toning and tightening your entire core. Working all those muscles at once torches tons of calories and can even help give you an extra boost.

PS: This does not mean you don’t do any other exercises or stop your current one.

Below is a clip of how to do a proper push-up :
